You know, they say that a parents few minutes a day can't possibly compete to send a positive message
when your child is constantly bombarded by thousands of images a day in the media that say otherwise.

It is our firm belief that if a parent spends that precious few minutes delivering a strong, consistent,
positive message, that they are heard above the din of video games simply because the message is coming
from YOU.
Best yet, every book on this site was written by parents (or other people who care) for kids. You don't have to
be a professional writer or graphic artist to contribute to this site, just someone who wants to contribute
to a great project and good cause.
We especially appreciate the graphic artists listed on this site who generously donate their time and creativity to
make these books come to life. This is a non-profit service except for the company with whom we host our
website. Even this web site's designer donated his time and this design.
We just team together
to write alternative books for kids as people who care about kids receiving the same great messages growing up
that we did (or wish we did).
We invite you to submit your own work. If you can write a kid's book with a positive message, please send
it along. If it meets our guidelines, we'll send it out to the artist's who have volunteered to help.
If one of them likes it and wants to illustrate it, you're in! Your book will be available on this site
for the world to read and for free download by other parents.
